  • Pass the National Registry Paramedic (NRP) exam and obtain Kentucky licensure (Learn More)
  • Complete HIV/AIDS, PAHT, and Sexual Violence training (Learn More)

Qualifications:
  • Valid AEMT certification in the state of Kentucky

  • Completion of state-approved AEMT training program

  • Hands-on experience with IVs, airway management, and medication administration

  • Strong grasp of emergency protocols, trauma care, and cardiac response

  • Excellent judgment under pressure

  • Clean background check and drug screening

  • Ability to communicate clearly with EMS teams, hospital staff, and patients
