World Mental Health Day

Today, we pause to remind everyone — from our first responders to our community members — that mental health matters just as much as physical health.

At Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, we see the impact that stress, trauma, and everyday life can have on mental well-being. Whether you’re responding to emergencies or simply navigating your own challenges, please remember:

It’s okay to not be okay.

It’s okay to ask for help.

And it’s always okay to check on someone else.

To our EMS family — thank you for showing up every day with courage and compassion, even when it’s hard.

To our community — thank you for supporting those who serve, and for caring for one another.

Let’s continue to talk about mental health, lift each other up, and end the stigma together.
